Background

Facility Management is a fast-growing professional discipline co-ordinating the physical activity places with people and work of organizations and buildings. It integrates principles of business administration, project & contract management, engineering, architecture, and behavioural and applied sciences.
 
Growing demand in society for clean, safe and accessible facilities has produced the need for this new kind of profession - Facility Management, especially after the out-break of SARS.

With our broad knowledge of all the elements affecting built environments, and people living and woking in them, our mission is to integrate the safe use of new technologies and the efficient and cost-effective management of buildings and facilities for our valued clients.

 

Director

Mr Barry Yu has extensive management and technical experience, ranging from senior management, business, customer services, human resources, engineering, maintenance, project administration, and contractual & legal disputes resolutions. Apart from management and technical positions in property and engineering industries for many years, he also had a key management position in a large-scale property developer in Hong Kong for over 10 years.

Mr Barry Yu holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (HKU), a Juris Doctor (J.D.) professional law degree (CityUHK), a Master of Science (MSc(Eng) degree in Building Services Engineering (HKPU), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (OUHK). Mr Barry Yu is also a Fellow Member (FCIArb) of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
 
 
余先生有豐富的管理和工程技術經驗,從高級管理人員、工程項目管理及工程維修保養業務、客戶服務、人力資源, 及合同法律與技術糾紛的仲裁和爭端解決業務。除了管理和技術職位及在工程行業多年,他也曾在香港一個大型房地產開發商任高級管理職位超過10 年。

余先生持有香港大學仲裁和爭端解決法律碩士(LLM)學位、香港城市大學法律博士(J.D.)專業法律學位、理大建築機電設備工程碩士(MSc(Eng) 學位, 和公大工商管理碩士(MBA)學位。 余先生也是英國特許仲裁司學會的資深會員(FCIArb)。

6. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution: arbitration and mediation as more efficient and effective alternative dispute resolutions (ADR) in construction and engineering disputes other than litigation in terms of time and cost
